For Sale - older dogs needing new homes
Older dogs are offered for sale when I think they deserve a new home, or don't make it as show dogs. I strongly prefer that my older dogs go to homes in South Australia, and they are not free.

Ibizan Hound
I have sadly decided that it's time to find a new home for my beautiful Nieva (Ch Lamarque Whiter Shade Of Pale).
Nieva is 5 1/2 years old (DOB 7/1/15) and was from the first of my two litters of Ibizan Hounds. She is a lovely natured dog, but she's bored because I don't take her out hunting or doing dog sports. She appears to have a pretty strong chasing instinct so I think she would do well at Lure Coursing or Agility.
Nieva has not been an inside dog, but Ibizans are pretty clean so I have no doubt that she would be easy to housetrain.
She will need to go to someone who has experience with Ibizans or similar Sighthound breeds - Afghan Hounds, Salukis, Borzois, Greyhounds, Whippets etc. Ibizans are not like Labradors, they are not instantly friendly, and they require patience and lots of socialising to make them good family dogs. I would also recommend a home wthout cats.
Lastly, Nieva will not be travelling outside South Australia, so if you are not from an area that is within easy driving distance of Adelaide, please don't ask about her. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE.
